Dagestan MPs propose to introduce a compulsory medical examination for Honeymooners

MPs believe that due to this measure the bride and groom will not be able to hide from each other they may have the disease

Deputies of the People’s Assembly of Dagestan made with the original proposal - to introduce an amendment to the Family Code of compulsory medical examination for honeymooners. This initiative they explain the fact that the country has a lot of childless unions - with infertility problem facing every fifth pair.

MPs offer marriages only after the presentation of the bride and groom certificates from a doctor.
